Pre-Release Engineering Development. Content authored by Designer 2026-07-08 for first review. OPEN and parametric values preserved verbatim — no fill or invented values. PE sign-off not authorized. Refer to source draft designer-drafts/CBT-APS-TDS-001_rev0_draft.md.
Framing — Mandatory
The Atmospheric Protection System (APS) recovers all airborne particulates and vapors as product streams via continuous negative-pressure capture. NOT emissions control, NOT scrubbing, NOT pollution control. The APS Capture Stream contains materials with defined commercial recovery value per the RevCon™ Valorization Ladder.

1. Executive Summary

APS is the facility-wide negative-pressure capture and material-recovery system spanning PIMB and RMB. Near-zero routine atmospheric release by design.

2. Facility Context & Module Boundaries

Captures at every ingest/transfer/processing point; ties to APS Equipment Room. Interface connector: ASI-APS-FLG (8-in. flanged duct).

3. Process Description

Continuous negative-pressure hoods → ducting → separation → recovery to product streams (carbon fines, mineral particulate). OPEN: separation train spec.

4. Feedstock Design Envelope

Capture material: MSW ejection particulate, rubber dust, H₂S, NH₃, methane, VOCs (Module 0D), mineral particulate.

5. Module Equipment Specifications

OPEN: fans, separators, filtration OEM specs (OER Gate 2).
