1. Scope & Interface Boundary

Defines the thermal interface between REG-WHSG-001 (NXS-Z2 high-temperature thermal recovery) and the T2 Processing steam/thermal-oil loads (T2-ITD LCI thin-film evaporator dryer; PRE-EVP-001 Liquifact™ evaporators). Physical tie-in at the RMB→PIMB thermal header wall penetration.

Terminology
REG-WHSG-001 is a Process Gas Heat Recovery Unit fed by hot process gases from the upstream MCR train — never "boiler" / "steam generator" (D-65 firewall lock).

3. Heat Balance Basis

Source: MCR process gas enthalpy (Recyclotron™ train). CSC load = independent (D-65 = dedicated 915 MHz microwave; does NOT draw on WHSG). Magnetron draw 11.52 MW (D-30). Available NXS-Z1 balance ≤20.48 MW. WHSG recovers process-gas sensible heat only — no independent fired source.

SCADA via ASI-DAT-MOD-TCP (Modbus TCP/IP). Interlocks: OPEN — SCADA tag list (ties to ICD-A05).
